LEADER OF BUND INVITES PUBLIC
Nazi Group To Meet At New Milford Tonight

Mrs. Caroline Meade today invited the general public to attend a meeting tonight of the Bergen County German American Bund at her New Milford home.
“The purpose of this meeting is to give an opportunity to my neighbors and fellow-countrymen to see and to hear at first hand the work and principals of this organization.  I believe that, fundamentally, every American has the desire and ability to know the truth about each movement now going on in our country,” Mrs. Meade said.
“And since this organization is the most under fire in our community, and indeed in the entire country, I believe that you will welcome this opportunity to see and to judge for yourselves whether it is un-American or not.”
Resolutions adopted at the Sixth National Convention of the Bund will be discussed tonight.
The resolution asked for a Gentile-controlled America, repudiation of existing international agreements regulating value of the dollar, severance of diplomatic relations with Soviet Russia and tightening of immigration laws.
